Terms & conditions

By submitting a nomination for the 2027 Adult Industry Choice Awards, you agree to the following.

  1. Age. Nominators and nominees must be 18 years or older.
  2. Who can be nominated. Individuals, businesses and organisations from anywhere in the world can be nominated, as long as they are currently active in the category they are nominated for.
  3. Self-nominations. You are welcome to nominate yourself. You can also nominate the same person or business in more than one category.
  4. Accurate details. Nominations with invalid contact details or incorrect information may be excluded. Please include as much detail about your nominee as you can, including their email, website or socials, so the organising committee can contact them if required and review the nomination.
  5. Category criteria. Each nominee must meet the criteria for the category they are nominated in. This may mean a nominee is not suitable for the category you chose.
  6. Verification. If we cannot verify that a nominee is currently active in the category, the nomination will be excluded. Nominators may also be randomly selected for verification using the phone number or email supplied, which helps protect the integrity of the awards.
  7. Spirit of the awards. Individuals or businesses who have shown questionable behaviour, such as bullying, discrimination, violence or anything else not in the true spirit of the awards, may be ineligible. The organising committee has the final say.
  8. Committee-selected award. The Hall of Fame is chosen by the organising committee based on impact and contribution to the industry, not by public vote.
  9. Notification. We will send notifications by email, provided the nominee has supplied an accurate email address. If you do not receive an email, it does not mean you have not been nominated. Please check the list of nominees on our website once voting begins.
  10. Removal and withdrawal. Nominees can contact us at awards@adultchoiceawards.com.au if they would like to be removed from a category, or withdrawn from the awards entirely. We are not responsible for nominations being made in a category a nominee may not like.
  11. Voting and winners. Verified nominees go to the public vote from 4 January to 1 February 2027. Winners are announced at the awards ceremony in Sydney on 11 February 2027.
  12. If plans change. If the ceremony cannot go ahead as planned, the organisers may reschedule it or move it to a livestream.
  13. Privacy and consent. By submitting a nomination you consent to your IP address being recorded for verification. The information collected is used by the Adult Industry Choice Awards for promotional and marketing purposes.
  14. Final decision. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
